Picture Day!

Well today is picture day for the kiddos. I just hope Brooklyn makes it. She is just fine, but her sinuses and allergies are a killer. She is my little snottie princess. As for me, I am getting better. Friday I had to leave work at midnight because I just couldnt breathe. My OB was there and tested me for flu, but luckily it was negative. She also did an US and confirmed that Jonah was sideways again. He is my little acrobat. She told me to call her if I needed some antibiotics. By 6am it was really bad and I called my doctor. So this weekend was just laying around doing nothing. Really had no energy let alone the lung capacity to do anything. Jackson, thank goodness, is fine. He is starting to have a little cough today, but that is all. Hopefully we can all get well before Jonah gets here. I dont want anyone sick around him! I have a doctor's appt tomorrow so maybe we can get a clue when my little boy will get here. Today I am just taking it easy and doing some light housework. I might even go to lunch with Jeff. Well, guess I will be useful!

And the sickness begins!

Well, now the parents are sick at the Clupny House. Jeff is going to the doctor afterwhile. He is practically coughing up a lung and starting to run a fever. I am just having sinus issues. Started with a sore throat and now onto the head congestion. Poor kids are bored because they want to go outside and we are like zombies. Hopefully we will get to feeling better soon!! My doctor appt went well yesterday. Jonah is now head down and I hope he stays that way. I am not dilated yet because he must have just turned....so let the dilation begin (I hope) On the 17th and 18th of October I had a baby shower. The 17th was hosted by some girls at church. We went to Olive Garden and then over to one of the girl's house to open presents. It was a lot of fun. On the 18th I went to Abuelos for a shower hosted by some girls from work. It was a blast. I am so grateful for great friends. Well, the kiddos are screaming and having meltdowns so I think I better tend to them. Hopefully they will nap well since I have to work tonight. Only 3 shifts more!!

Possible change in plans

Well we went to the doctor yesterday. Everything looks good except for one thing.....Jonah is stubborn. He is lying transverse (sideways) with his feet partially breech. The doctor discussed the possibility of a external version, which is where they try to turn the baby. I am not so sure about that. There are risks involved and I dont want to up any chances of a complication. So basically we are looking at a c-section unless Jonah decides to turn (which I am hoping for). I have a doctor appt on Tuesday and we will make some decisions then. Other than that we have been good. The kids are getting so big. The other night we were eating dinner and we told Jackson that is was good to try new things. He said "Mom, dad I dont think that is the case." I mean the boy is not even 4. He is too funny. Right now I am trying to get these kiddos to pick up their toys. They like to dump all their toys in the floor and then hate picking them up. We have tried telling them to pick out one toy at a time so then there is less to pick up, but they haven't gotten that yet. Maybe it will sink in when they get tired of always having to pick up toys. We will see!

Fall, Fall, Fall!

Today is the first day that I feel it is truly fall. The air is crisp (slightly damp) and if I had trees they would probably have color. I love fall! In fact I might have to make me some hot cocoa right now. Well, I am trying to be patient in my wait for Jonah but it is killing me. I am ready for him to be here now. I am so excited for my new little guy! Jackson got his stitches out yesterday and was a brave boy. I am so thankful that Brooklyn is my little princess (since we probably wont have anymore kiddos) She wanted her nails done last night so we now have fire engine red on our toes and fingernails. She just prances around with her hands in the air and her pink purse on her arm. It is too cute. Tonight we might go to the drive in to watch the newest Harry Potter. Jackson loves HP and hasnt seen this one yet. Well, I think I am going to make that cocoa, get the kids a snack, and then we can build a castle or play with some playdough.

Working toward a goal!

31 weeks Pretty Ballerina First Day of School 8/2009

Stitches on Oct 2, 2009 Hanging at Tulsa Zoo

Ok,
I am terrible at this blog stuff and my goal is to change this. I am going to post something here at least twice a week. I promise!! The kids are getting so big and doing and saying so many funny things that if I dont let my friends and family share in my mommy joy then before I know it they will be off to college and nobody will know anything about them. So here is one of this weeks posts. Jackson and Brooklyn are doing well. They started their mother's day out class this August and are doing well (although Jackson is still hugging a little too much-you know some kids dont like hugs) Jackson went to the ER this last Friday because he thought he would be Spiderman and jump off his little table and hit the wall. So he now has 6 stitches in his forehead. We are going to get those out tomorrow. I am now 36 weeks and ready for Jonah to make his appearance. Everything is pretty much ready for him....so anytime buddy. I am still working twice a week, but am so ready for maternity leave. Today I went to a coworker's shower and Jackson did the funniest thing. He was asking me what a boy's name was and I said "Ask him" So Jackson proceded to say "Ask him, oh Ask him....wanna play?" It was so funny. Well, I will have more stories I am sure. I promise to post later this week.

Ok, so I am terrible at this blog thing!

Yes, I know it has been forever. I am super terrible at this blog. It is just so hard to get on the computer let alone put stuff on here. I need to get my pictures developed from Silver Dollar City so I can post them. We went towards the end of June and it was HOT!! We really couldnt enjoy the park. Jeff had a great birthday and the Fourth of July was nice. I got called off and got to see the fireworks with the kids, although 3/4 of the time Brooklyn was screaming. We have gotten down all of Jackson's old clothes and washed them for Jonah. They are all in the closet ready to go. Jackson got a new bed (a twin) and is pretty much staying in it through the night. Just this past weekend we got Brooklyn a toddler bed and she loves it. Today she turned two!! Where did the time go? She is too cute and Jackson sang Happy Birthday to her. Today I had a doctor's appt and all was well (except I had to drink the sugary glucola drink- never fun) I now start going every 2 weeks which is exciting. It just means we are getting closer. I am 27 weeks and next week starts my third trimester!! Well, I need to get some stuff done and hang with the kiddos. I am working tonight but praying for a HC. It would be wonderful to be called off.

Ok, I think we have had enough rain!

Well, we definitely have had enough rain around here. I would really like the kids to be able to play outside. Not much new has gone on around here. I had my ultrasound on June 11 and we are definitely having a boy! Jonah Christian will be here soon. They are kinda wishwashy on my dates. I am due sometime between Nov 3rd and Nov 9th, so now I am anywhere from 19.5 to 20.5 weeks. Jonah is starting to move more, which I like. It's nice to feel them and know they are moving around in there. Jackson is getting so big and tall. Who knew with a 5'4'' mom and 5'9'' dad. Gotta come from the grandparents I guess. Brooklyn is getting sassy and definitely more girly. The other day we went to the grocery store and she wouldnt go without her purse and cinderella gloves on. It was too cute. I need to post some new pics and I promise I will. I am getting ready to go over to the grandparents again. We have been having showings on the house like crazy lately. Hopefully we will get a bite soon. Well, need to get the kiddos ready to go. Guess we will pick up lunch on the way. We will see what the kids and Jonah is feeling up to!
