Branson Trip

Howdy folks!
Well we had an awesome time in Branson. On Saturday we got there and thankfully Brooklyn did not get sick (thank you Phenergan) We checked into our hotel (which was awesome) and then headed to The Landing. We had never been there before and it was fun. Brooklyn got a big chippette doll and we ate lots of treats. I didnt mind the marble slab (hehehehe) We played and shopped for a few hours and then headed back for a rest before eating at Outback Steak and Oyster Bar. The next day we went to Silver Dollar City and had loads of fun. The weather was awesome...almost weird not going when it is blazing hot. Jackson rode tons of rides, even the big coasters! He liked Thunderation, but not a fan of the Powder Keg. Who can blame him? Even mommy screamed! Well we swam and relaxed at the hotel and we ready for more fun at SDC the next morning. Monday morning we got ready for SDC and when we got there the parking lots we empty. It was early so we thought "Wow....must have beat the crowd" Oh we did.....the park was closed! So we spent the rest of the day shopping and even did some mini golf. Tuesday we headed home. It was really an awesome trip and boy did I eat. Have a few pounds to work off. Well...time to play with the kiddos!

Well we have been pretty busy lately. Jackson has had his soccer every Saturday and I have been hitting the gym more. I only have 5 more pounds to lose!! Jeff is doing great too! I think he has less than 10 left. We reorganized some stuff around the house and the kids have swapped rooms. Jonah is now in Brooklyn's old room and it is all redone. He is sleeping so much better now that he has his own space. Brooklyn and Jackson are now sharing (since they slept together every night anyway) and we just got done with their bunk beds yesterday. They are so excited and never want to leave their room (why didnt I think of this sooner?) Well...have a bunch to do. I am finishing up packing for our Branson trip. We leave tomorrow morning after I get home from work. We are going to Silver Dollar City Sunday and Monday and coming home Tuesday! I will definitely post pictures! Pray that the weather cooperates...so far looks promising!

Easter!!!

Well today is Easter and we had a wonderful Sunday. First we went to church and got to see the kiddos all cute and adorable. After church we ran home to get our stuff and went to my grandma's for a wonderful Easter lunch. The kids really had fun hunting their eggs and spending time with grandma Suzan. After all that food we definitely needed a nap so we ran home and rested. Now it is the evening and the kids are enjoying their Easter spoils. I am definitely going to have to work out hard this week to make up for today, but hey that is holiday! Also yesterday had his first soccer practice. It was so awesome seeing him kick and do the soccer drills. He definitely has promise!! I am so excited to see him play his first game. Well...time for the kids' dinner. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! He is risen as he said!
