Busy busy busy!

Well, we have been pretty busy around here and I havent written in awhile...I apologize. Everything is just getting started again and I am getting adjusted! Kids are still just doing gymnastics on Tuesdays, but now we have school on Thursday, then I have bible study on Wednesdays, work on Fridays and I am getting ready to be in a book club and another bible study through work. What can I say....always busy! The kids just keep getting bigger. Jackson is looking so much more like a kid and not a little boy. He has been practicing on a bike with training wheels and doing really well. Guess we need to get him one. Brooklyn is being my sassy little girl, but still so sweet. And Jonah...dont get me started. I cant believe in a little over a month he is going to be one! He is crawling like crazy and pulling up on anything he can. Before I know it he will be running with the other kids soon enough. Wow time really flies and everyone is right...it just keeps going faster and faster. I thank God for all the blessings he has brought into my life!

And the sickness sets in!

Well, some more sickness in the Clupny house. It looks like we just cant get well around here! We have some terrible allergies and we just cant get over them. Our doctor has started Jeff and I on Flonase and I think it is helping me. Jeff just got his tonight so we will see. Today I took Jonah to get his flu shot and then we hung out at the park. It was such a beautiful morning and I think the kids had a lot of fun! We had some lunch and then the kiddos went down for a nap. Jeff came home early because he is pretty sick. I took the kiddos to gymnastics and then dinner time. After I got them to bed I got to enjoy my shows. Glee and Biggest Loser started tonight and I am pumped! I love Biggest Loser and it will hopefully get me back on track. Well I need to get to bed so I can get up early to workout. Nighty night!

Saturday fun day!

Well today was a good ol' Saturday. We got up and had a nice breakfast and then Jackson and Jeff had some good ol fashion male bonding by getting haircuts together. It is beginning to be their ritual together! It is so cute. Brooklyn and I did some beauty shop while Jonah was napping. Here's a cake that I delivered today

.

So after I delivered the cake I hung out at home while the kids took a nap. When they woke up I tried to get our new phone, but the lady would not let us upgrade one day early...kinda silly huh? So I guess we get our new phones tomorrow. Then we headed over to Mike and Shelley's for his 30th birthday. It was nice hanging out with everyone and the kiddos enjoyed themselves. Now I am watching some tv with the hubby and getting ready for bed. By the way, I made this awesome chinese sauce that I cooked with some noodles to make lo mein, but you can use it to marinate meat, cook with noodles, rice, or just some stir fry veggies. Try it out!

1/4 cup soy sauce (actually asked for Tamari- a dark soy...but didnt get any...just used soy)

3 tbs honey

2 tbs tomato paste

2 tbs rice vinegar

1 tbs sesame oil

2 cloves garlic

What a weekend!

Hey!
Well the kids' first day of school went pretty well. Jackson got his teacher from last year and she is awesome. We LOVE Miss Beth! Brooklyn had a great time as well. Jonah on the other hand, well it is kinda hard to tell. He didnt really fuss when I left and I watched him at the window for awhile, but when I went to pick him up they said he was pretty fussy most of the day and didnt eat his lunch. Hopefully he will come around. He needs to get use to a little time away from me. Right after school we hurried home and got the car loaded and off we went to Wichita. It took us quite awhile with potty breaks and we stopped and ate in for dinner and then Jeff missed an exit so we had a little detour so we got there around 10pm. We visited a moment with family and then off to bed. Friday we went to the zoo with grandma after a nice breakfast with family. The kids loved the zoo and the weather was perfect! Then we spent the rest of the day playing at Uncle Nick and Aunt Crystal's. It was nice seeing them all and celebrating Grandpa Ron's birthday. Saturday morning we had fun at the farmer's market and I got some AWESOME jalapeno jelly. The kids loved a clown who made balloon animals. We had a nice lunch at Jeff's favorite ( Old Chicago) and then got ready for the wedding. It was so pretty, but we didnt stay long because the kids were too worn out. Yesterday was the trip home and it was really nice. We went a different way and it was awesome. It didnt take as long and we didnt pay tolls. I think we found our new route! We got home and I got everything unpacked and some laundry done. The evening got better when I got called off work. So now I am up and at em (thank you Jonah) and I am sipping some coffee before everyone else is up. Jonah is enjoying some Mickey Mouse and I think I am going to read a bit!

Anticipation

Hey!
I know I havent written in awhile, but we have kinda been stuck in the routine of life. Nothing much has gone on....just the same o...same o. We have a lot coming up though and that should bring on some new memories and good times. Tomorrow the kids start school and it was so exciting getting their stuff together. I am not ready for them to grow up, but you know me and organization...LOVE IT! I have their backpacks all ready and filled. Just need to get their lunches made. I cant believe Jonah is starting too. I havent gotten him packed up yet because it is all new to me. Jackson and Brooklyn never went before they were 1. Jonah is going because it hard to start them in the Spring and I didnt want to wait until he was almost 2. I really hope he does well. Today is the first of September and I am so excited about fall. It is my favorite season. I look forward to football, cider, crisp weather, chili, etc. I thank God for all his many blessings. He is so good to me and to us all. Have a wonderful first of September!
