I know I have been terrible!

I cant believe it has been over a month since I have written. I am so sorry! It will be so much easier to keep up this blog when I have a laptop. It is so hard to be confined to the same area with little ones running around and getting into things. Well, we have just been busy.....church cookouts, Silver Dollar City days, and Mother's Day weekend! We are just getting into Summer mode. The kids are out of school until June 7th and then are only there until right before the 4th. Then they are out until Aug 30th. I am going to be sleep deprived. Jackson just finished up Gymnastics, but start right back up. I am signing up Brooklyn next week for dance and she is so excited. She wants to be a purple ballerina, though....not a pink one! We will have to work on that! Jackson is getting so big with his manners. Today he opened the door for me and then said "Ladies first" I was so proud! I cant believe Jonah is almost 7 months old. He is sitting up, rolling everywhere, and eats a ton of baby food. He is sooooo big and I hate that it is going by too fast! Well, I need to get to bed. I have been working on a cake all day and am tired! I will post soon! PROMISE!

Branson Trip

Howdy folks!
Well we had an awesome time in Branson. On Saturday we got there and thankfully Brooklyn did not get sick (thank you Phenergan) We checked into our hotel (which was awesome) and then headed to The Landing. We had never been there before and it was fun. Brooklyn got a big chippette doll and we ate lots of treats. I didnt mind the marble slab (hehehehe) We played and shopped for a few hours and then headed back for a rest before eating at Outback Steak and Oyster Bar. The next day we went to Silver Dollar City and had loads of fun. The weather was awesome...almost weird not going when it is blazing hot. Jackson rode tons of rides, even the big coasters! He liked Thunderation, but not a fan of the Powder Keg. Who can blame him? Even mommy screamed! Well we swam and relaxed at the hotel and we ready for more fun at SDC the next morning. Monday morning we got ready for SDC and when we got there the parking lots we empty. It was early so we thought "Wow....must have beat the crowd" Oh we did.....the park was closed! So we spent the rest of the day shopping and even did some mini golf. Tuesday we headed home. It was really an awesome trip and boy did I eat. Have a few pounds to work off. Well...time to play with the kiddos!

Well we have been pretty busy lately. Jackson has had his soccer every Saturday and I have been hitting the gym more. I only have 5 more pounds to lose!! Jeff is doing great too! I think he has less than 10 left. We reorganized some stuff around the house and the kids have swapped rooms. Jonah is now in Brooklyn's old room and it is all redone. He is sleeping so much better now that he has his own space. Brooklyn and Jackson are now sharing (since they slept together every night anyway) and we just got done with their bunk beds yesterday. They are so excited and never want to leave their room (why didnt I think of this sooner?) Well...have a bunch to do. I am finishing up packing for our Branson trip. We leave tomorrow morning after I get home from work. We are going to Silver Dollar City Sunday and Monday and coming home Tuesday! I will definitely post pictures! Pray that the weather cooperates...so far looks promising!

Easter!!!

Well today is Easter and we had a wonderful Sunday. First we went to church and got to see the kiddos all cute and adorable. After church we ran home to get our stuff and went to my grandma's for a wonderful Easter lunch. The kids really had fun hunting their eggs and spending time with grandma Suzan. After all that food we definitely needed a nap so we ran home and rested. Now it is the evening and the kids are enjoying their Easter spoils. I am definitely going to have to work out hard this week to make up for today, but hey that is holiday! Also yesterday had his first soccer practice. It was so awesome seeing him kick and do the soccer drills. He definitely has promise!! I am so excited to see him play his first game. Well...time for the kids' dinner. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! He is risen as he said!

Interesting St Patty's Day

Well we definitely had an interesting day today. All started well....the kiddos wore their green and were too cute!! We went to our last day of bible study and had a great morning. We took our nap and then had a afternoon of getting ready for work. So I was at work when I got a call from Jeff a little before 8pm. Apparently Jackson hit Brooklyn with his gun and she fell and hit her face on his entertainment center. So I told him to come up to the hospital if he thought she might need stitches. They came up and poor Brooklyn looked pitiful. Her nostrils were leaking blood and there was a little gash above her lip. A pediatrician was on our floor and checked her out. He said she didnt need stitches, but she needed some dermabond to close the gash....so to the ER we went. Finally we got her taken care of and I went back to work for the night. Poor thing looked so swolled and terrible the next morning that I had her stay home.....so no sleep for mommy. Then I went and picked up Jackson and then went to Jonah's 4 month checkup. He still has a double ear infection so we are getting another 10 days of antibiotics...and he got shots. Not looking forward to tonight. Hope I get some sleep! Hope everyone had a wonderful St Patty's Day. We didnt get the luck of the Irish this year!

SORRY!!!

Hey!
Well, I have been pretty awful this month. I cant believe that I havent written in over a month. I am ready to get a laptop so it would be easier to get on the computer. Being confined to one place with 2 toddlers and an infant is not the easiest. I will work harder to keep this blog updated! Well Jonah is now a little over 4 months old. I cant believe it! He is just getting so big. Yesterday he rolled over for the first time and he is getting so vocal. I actually have to tell him to be quiet sometimes. We are starting to work with him on sleeping in his own bed and going to sleep on his own. He has been sleeping with us for awhile because he has been sick. We had him on antibiotics for a double ear infection and some albuterol for wheezing and congestion. Last night he went to bed with very little help and only woke up once. I hope it continues that way. Jackson is getting more and more childlike and less and less toddler-like. Jeff was just saying yesterday how he is getting so big and understanding so much more. Brooklyn is definitely getting that 2 yr old mentality. My little princess has been a little diva at times, but still so sweet. (maybe I am a push over for my little girl) Jeff and I are well. We are working hard on our weight loss goals and are getting there. I only have 7 pounds left and the saying "the last 10 pounds are the hardest" is ringing true. The scale is not wanting to budge! Well...have a bunch to do around the house and need to play with the kiddos. I will update soon!

Sorry for not posting in awhile!

Hey!
I know it has been awhile and I am sorry I havent posted. We had Jackson's birthday and then my birthday and it has just been crazy. Plus I have been having ear pain and problems and trying to deal with that. Well things have been good here. Jackson is doing so much each day. We are learning to recognize our numbers even though we have been counting them forever. He does pretty well except for the number 5. He now can buckle his seat belt all by himself which saves me from climbing all the way in the back of the van (very nice!) Brooklyn is just my sweet little princess...getting cuter every day. Jonah is growing up way too fast. He now uses his exersaucer and high chair and we have moved up in car seats! We dont use the infant carrier. In the next week we are going to start some cereal and he will be 4 months old in a little over 2 weeks! I cant believe it! Jeff and I have been doing awesome with our weight loss goals. As of today I have lost 11 pounds and Jeff has lost a whopping 21 pounds!! I am so proud of him. Well, time for breakfast! I hope all of you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
