Kids say the darnest things.....
So we had adult night out Saturday which was so much fun. We went bowling with two other couples and we had a blast. It was nice having adult conversation, but we did miss the kids. What can we say....we hate being without them. Sunday we celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday with lunch and a little dip in the pool. It was really nice getting together with family. Yesterday was a lot of running because I went to the gym and then took my car to get serviced. We hung out with my grandparents and got my brother school supplies. The funniest thing though was when we were doing our bible stories before bed. We read about Samuel anointing David with oil and how he was filled with god's power. Then we talked about David and Goliath. We worked on memorizing Philippians 4:13 since it seemed appropriate and talked to the kids how they can do anything because they have God's power. Then Jackson looked at me and said " Mom, did I get oil on my head?" It was really cute. Well, need to go. Jonah is fussing and we have gymnastics today!!

Well we did it!
Well, it looks like I am going to now be working one day a week. I think it is going to help so much and I have so much more time with the kiddos. It is amazing how I will be less tired from just dropping one day. My last Wed is Sept 1st! We have been pretty busy around here. Brooklyn started gymnastics and she had a blast at her first class. Jackson is doing great and Jonah started crawling! He had his 9 month checkup today and everything looks great. He really wants to feed himself and loves table food! At lunch today he ate turkey like a big boy. He is working on his top teeth which will help him even more. Tonight God blessed me with an HC (a night off) so I am catching up on some photo downloads, blogging, etc. Tomorrow I can be rested to hang out with friends. We are going to Fastlanes tomorrow night to bowl and chill with friends. It should be fun and I am excited. Well, it is late and I need to get some sleep just in case I get called back in. Have a great night!

Doin' some thinking....
Well, it has been pretty hectic around here. We have been trying to recover from Branson (laundry, routine, etc) and getting geared up for school again. Jeff and I got a date night Saturday thanks to my wonderful mom. I had so much fun with her here and the kiddos love their grandma Suzan! Yesterday evening was pretty crazy because Jonah somehow got out of his high chair and fell on the tile floor. He was acting kinda loopy so we took him to the ER. After awhile he started acting normal and all was well. We just watched him really closely last night and he was fine. I am so grateful to God that it wasnt more. Brooklyn started gymnastics today and did such a great job. I am so excited for her!! I picked up Jeff for lunch today and we had a lot to discuss. We are thinking about me going from two days a week to working one day. It is really hard on him at work to go in late and we just dont have childcare. So we are going to pray about it and crunch some numbers. It really would be nice to be home every weeknight with the kids and not worry about Jeff being late. We will just have to see. I just need to remember to put God in control and know that he will provide!

Sweatin' at Silver Dollar City!
So this Sunday and Monday we headed to Branson with my mom and brother and we met up with Jeff's dad, sister, and her hubby. We got to Branson around 12pm on Sunday and went to lunch at Outback. It was pretty yummy. Then we took my mom and brother to the Landing and looked around. We didnt stay long because it was sooooo hot. It just took your breath away. We left there and headed to Silver Dollar City. It was great being there, but the lines were long and again TOO HOT! We left there around 9pm and headed back to the hotel for a swim...which was very nice. We got up the next morning and headed back to SDC. This time we were able to ride more and there were less people. Too bad we couldnt do more about the heat. All in all it was still fun. We got home around 4pm and picked up the house because we had a showing. Hopefully something will happen soon, but I know that it is in God's hands and I can rest in that. Today we watched Brooklyn's last day in dance for the summer. She was so cute, although a little shy. Now the kiddos are napping and I am going to get in a little mommy time. Have a blessed day!

Brooklyn turns 3!
We today we had Brooklyn's 3rd birthday party! I cant believe how big my girl is. Time is flying by too quickly. We had her party at Jump Zone in Bentonville. It is an awesome place and the kids love it. It has these huge inflatables that the kids love! I am so grateful to God for such amazing family and friends. Brooklyn had such a wonderful time. So we finished with the party and then headed home so we all could get a nap. I had worked the night before so you can imagine how tired I was. After our nap, we spent the afternoon cleaning the house and getting the car cleaned and ready for our trip. Tomorrow we are heading to Branson for two day of shopping and fun at Silver Dollar City. We are going with the kids, my mom and brother, Aunt Shelley and Uncle Mike, and Grandpa Ron. It should be a blast. Well, I am exhausted. I had typed this already in better detail and then it somehow got erased. So goodnight folks...headed to bed!

Inspiration!
Hey!
Well, I have been inspired. I thought I was doing pretty well if I updated the blog every week, but then I read someone's blog who updated every day or so. I really want to get that way....even it is about something as mundane as a grocery trip (because really a grocery trip with three kids under 5 is pretty crazy!) We have been pretty good and busy around here. Jackson is in gymnastics, Brooklyn in dance, and I have been in a summer bible study. We just finished a study of Lamentations and it was amazing. God has blessed me so much and I really feel I am drawing closer to him and I see the kids closer to him everyday! It is such a wonderful thing to see the kids learning and growing in Christ. Brooklyn is turning 3 tomorrow and I just dont know where time has gone. She is really excited about her Tinkerbell party on Saturday and I will definitely post pics. We are going to Branson on Sunday and Monday with family and the kids are so excited. I hope it gets a little cooler....I am kinda worried! Well I hope everyone has a blessed day. I am going to play rockstar with the kiddos and then get ready for work tonight!

And the teeth are in!
Finally Jonah's two bottom teeth have come in. He is a little bit fussier because his gums are sore, but at least they are through. We have just been doing the same around here. Dance, gymnastics, bible study, hanging outside around water.....typical Clupny fashion. This week the kids started vacation bible school. I think they will like it and it gives me some more time since the kids are out of school. I cant believe Brooklyn's bday is coming up. I cant believe she is going to be three. Well, gotta go. So much to do and I need to check on my grandma. She had total knee replacement surgery last monday and I am helping her with her shots and drsg changes. She is really doing awesome. I am so proud of her!
